**Skidmore only requires the FAFSA upon enrollment, so the delayed release of the simplified FAFSA will not have a negative impact on our 金融援助 processes or decision release. 早期的决定 applicants will be reviewed using information on the CSS Profile. 国际 students may either 提交 the CSS Profile or complete the 国际 Student Financial 援助 application form in their Skidmore Applicant Portal.

Skidmore has been test-optional since 2016 和we do not require SAT or ACT scores.
Students may 提交 their SAT or ACT scores if they feel their test results best represent their academic potential. We will not make any assumptions as to why some students choose to 提交 scores while others do not. All applicants will be given equal consideration in our holistic evaluation approach.

Students who 提交 standardized testing may self-report their scores as follows at the time of application:

- Complete the self-reported scores form inside your applicant portal
Students who apply with self-reported scores must 提交 verified scores upon enrollment that match self-reported scores.
Prospective majors for Art, Music, or Dance a我们不需要 提交 一个投资组合. 如果你选择 提交 一个投资组合, it must be uploaded through your Skidmore Applicant Portal within a week of the application deadline for your round.

- At least four works must be drawings from direct observation.
- Artwork should demonstrate a command of elements of visual language, including composition, 线条、形状和颜色.
- Portfolios should reflect the abilities and experience of the applicants.
Filene Music Scholarship:

- Music resume with camps, ensembles, and other activities should also be uploaded, including the name and contact information for teachers/instructors with whom you 研究.

- Video portfolios should be no longer than three minutes in length.
- Portfolios may demonstrate any dance discipline(s) or style(s) that best exemplify the dancer's strengths and command of their physicality and practice.
- Portfolios should include at least one longer clip, at least 30 seconds, that demonstrates the dancer's ability to execute more complex choreography.
